Artist Retreat 2020

Friday 3rd - Sunday 5th April 2020

Glencree Peace and Reconciliation Centre, Wicklow 

​Artists from A4 Sounds (Dublin), Engage (Galway) and Sample-Studios (Cork) are developing this exchange in tandem with our 3-way exhibition exchange programme for 2020.
The aims of the Artist Retreat are to

• Give people space to reflect upon their own work and share their practice with others around them,
• Provide a kick-start for inspiration and perhaps the potential to find areas of collaboration between artists of different studios
• Update on what is going in Ireland: Collaborative Practice and Activism
• Explore and develop new themes and ideas for future events/retreats​​

Proposed Timetable
** This is currently being developed and we're looking to tailor the proposed activities according to what the attendees  want from the weekend

Accommodation will be hostel style so bring your own creature comforts and earplugs if you are a light sleeper!

Please let us know if you have any specific dietary (or other) requirements

The countryside around is beautiful so do bring walking gear
