Katrina Foley is a theatre artist living in Cork and working out of Sample-Studios, where she also holds the position of Performing Arts Programmer. Over the years Katrina has worked on many shows both on stage and behind the scenes as a performer, a stage manager, a designer and a director.
In 2016, Katrina worked with the Everyman as assistant stage manager for their in-house production of Juno & The Paycock, with Corcadorca as assistant director on their Cork Midsummer show Sacrifice at Easter and in the costume department for Prodijig: The Revolution at the Cork Opera House.
As a performer Katrina has many credits to her name, most recently performing in the one-woman show Fleabag by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. This production by Tangled Stars Theatre Company brought the show to the Cork Arts Theatre and to Cleere’s Bar and Theatre as part of the AKA (Alternative Kilkenny Arts) Festival this summer.
This year Katrina also completed a BA in Theatre and Drama Studies after a four year degree at the Cork School of Music. After graduating with a first class honours, Katrina was awarded a development bursary from the CIT Arts Office to pursue her budding career as a director.
