Caroline Barrett is a photographer currently living and working in Cork. She studied photography in
Crawford College of Art & Design. Caroline doesn’t photograph things, she photographs the way
they make her feel. Currently working on a project involving dogs, at times she regrets choosing a
Caroline is a member of Sample Studios and has exhibited as part of Culture Night 2016 and Cork
The lurcher suffers neglect and abuse more than any other breed in Ireland. Thousands disappear
each year. The fortunate ones arrive at a rescue centre such as Limerick Animal Welfare to be
rehabilitated and rehomed. My work attempts to show the true nature of these beautiful dogs,
often in spite of past treatment.
